We are sad to hear Camp Horizon is a victim of recent government funding cuts. We have covered the incredible things this organization does.

We are surprised to see Hockey Alberta implement a ban on bodychecking in peewee hockey. (See story on page 21).

We are disappointed that Rocky View County councillors maintained the status quo by not releasing the Communications Audit and Strategy Final Report. (See story on page 1).

We were shocked and horrified to hear about the bombings at the Boston Marathon on April 15. (See story on page 7).

We are interested to see a non-profit organization calling for a review of the Bingham Crossing development application and challenging some of the rules in the Municipal Government Act (MGA). (See story on pages one and two).

We are glad to see Chestermere resident Peter Tindall start a petition asking the Province to phase in a 53 per cent school requisition tax increase. (See story on page 1).
