Cochrane Lake tax rejected by council, receives grant funding

With the recent announcement from Alberta Environment on Aug. 11 of $2.3 million in grant funding being provided to install the water level management infrastructure at Cochrane Lake, Rocky View County (RVC) council passed a unanimous motion to not proceed with the proposed Local Improvement Plan (LIP), which was approved on June 10.
